Kimberly Y. Freeman
Kim discovered a passion for her faith and writing as early as elementary school. As a college student, she acted in several stage productions and won a role in an episode for a local educational television program. A former evangelist-missionary, Kim wrote Bible study lessons for the Home and Foreign Missions Department of the Church of God in Christ for several decades. She was a featured writer and assistant editor for THE WHOLE TRUTH MAGAZINE, the official communique for the same denomination.
In addition, Kim wrote several plays staged locally at her former church. It was her quest to find a way to merge her love of God, hope in the gospel, writing, and cinema that led her to attend Dr. Ted Baehr’s (Movieguide) workshop ‘How To Succeed In Hollywood Without Losing Your Soul.’ Currently finalizing a project for entry in a major screenwriting competition, Kim plans to travel to her Mississippi hometown in the next several weeks to conduct research on the first of several projects she hopes to film there and in Tennessee.
Kim is a member of the Tennessee Screenwriting Association. Kim and her husband D’Regis have been married nearly 19 years, have a son, and enjoy spending time with their eight-year-old grandson. They are members of Strong Tower Bible Church in Nashville, Tennessee.

Peter Hatch: Screenwriter
Peter has initiated a number of film and television concepts, currently at varying stages of development: HOTEL REAL: A fury, a television miniseries based on the novel, which is listed on pitching marketplace InkTip.com; SAGE, a reality procedural show, in which relationship disputes that replicate public issues in miniature, are aired, argued, adjudicated upon, and (sometimes) resolved; and MR. BUTTERFLY, a miniseries about a young sports star who is rescued from despair and shame by spiritual beliefs he’d forgotten he once had. The latter is also listed on Ink Tip.
Peter’s other projects include: JIMMY ZHOU, a television miniseries, or feature, about an immigrant boy who is bullied at school, but who discovers he has a talent which, after being worked on diligently, takes him to ultimate triumph; and MARAE RESCUE, a television miniseries/feature about a young lawyer who returns from a period overseas to find that his tribal sponsor wants him to “rescue” his people by negotiating a substantial government contribution, when he believes, with growing conviction, that doing so will only enslave them.
Currently based in New Zealand, Peter plans to visit Nashville mid-2023.
